Many of us remember times in our youth when we didn’t get to do what we wanted to do. Or, most important, had to do something we didn’t want to.
From getting out of bed in the morning for school to going to church, we can all remember times we’ve asked our parents, “Do I have to?”
The Ziglar Vault says, “That was Dad for you. Changing the ’have to’s’ into ’get to’s.’ Dad knew that not everyone is capable of getting up on their own. Not everyone can go to a place of worship of their choosing in a free county.”
Take some time to really think about what your “have to’s” are, now that you’re an adult.
Did going to work make the list? What about working out or spending time with your family? Even something as simple as taking out the trash could make the list.
